About the position

The Learning & Development Program Manager at Sage Hospitality Group is responsible for supporting learning initiatives that enable associates to evolve and develop in alignment with the company's vision and values. This role emphasizes a passion for helping people learn and grow, requiring strong communication and administrative skills, along with project management experience. The Program Manager will coordinate, support, track participation and completion, and report on multiple learning and development projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support the organization's Learning Management System (LMS), including system administration, user support, content management, and reporting.
  • Coordinate logistical aspects of cultural immersion/onboarding programs for key leaders quarterly, including scheduling and managing presenters.
  • Support execution of company-wide development programs, including an emerging leader program and scholarship program.
  • Perform administrative tasks to ensure training needs and deadlines are met for learning and development initiatives.
  • Monitor learning events and content for relevance and accuracy, updating as needed.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and external vendors to deliver training solutions.
  • Track participation and completion for L&D programs and processes.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and champions of Learning & Development events and initiatives.
  • Design job aids and training resources to support L&D processes.
  • Gather and report feedback on L&D initiatives, providing initial data analysis and maintaining dashboards.
  • Create, track, and distribute L&D reports, dashboards, and metrics.
  • Assist with initiatives related to Talent Management, Engagement, and DEIB efforts.

Requirements

  • 4 year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Education, Communication, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related major.
  • 3-5 years proven experience in Learning & Development and training field, managing L&D programs and facilitating learning opportunities.
  • At least one year experience working with learning management systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with systems platforms and current technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create engaging presentations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an interest in process improvement.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with project management software (e.g., Asana).
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to follow-through and accuracy.
