About the position

The Learning & Development Specialist I at CCS Medical is responsible for delivering learning programs and workshops to employees and managers, monitoring their effectiveness, and contributing to the design of new learning initiatives. This role is crucial in enhancing employee skills and knowledge, ensuring a patient-centric approach in chronic care management. The position requires collaboration with subject matter experts and a commitment to continuous improvement in learning methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct learning needs assessments to identify skills and knowledge gaps of employees.
  • Develop engaging and effective learning materials and programs tailored to the organization's needs.
  • Facilitate learning sessions, workshops, and seminars using various methods (e.g., in-person, virtual, e-learning).
  • Assess the impact of learning programs through feedback, performance metrics, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Stay updated on new learning methods, technologies, and best practices.
  • Assist with organizational communications to ensure employees are informed about training and development events.
  • Maintain records of all staff training and engagement.
  • Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
  • Maintain regular, predictable, consistent attendance and flexibility to meet departmental needs.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in training facilitation, employee learning and development, or a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Certifications in training, instructional design, or related areas are beneficial.
  • Solid planning, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for collaboration and high accountability.
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design techniques.
  • Analytical skills to assess learning needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in training, instructional design, or related areas.
