About the position

The Learning & Development Specialist at Bioventus plays a crucial role in enhancing the global workforce's knowledge and capabilities through targeted training and comprehensive learning programs. This position involves designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions that improve employee skills and performance, while also managing the Learning Management System (LMS) and supporting various training initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the development and coordination of learning activities and programs across all global job functions.
  • Supports ongoing professional development for all employees.
  • Operates as the champion and technical expert for the Learning Management System (LMS) and manages the development, testing, and administration of learning activities under Bioventus University.
  • Provides LMS administration support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with different functions to guide them in creating and deploying content and learning paths within the LMS for various audiences and roles.
  • Designs and develops content and resources to deliver on key DEI & Talent Management Team priorities.
  • Supports development programs within Bioventus University, including coordinating the Mentorship Program and Leadership Development Programs.
  • Collects and shares data and dashboards for Training Programs, including deploying surveys, gathering feedback, and analyzing LMS data to assess program effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-4 years experience as a Learning Management System (LMS) administrator, preferably with Cornerstone.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, or Organizational Development.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theories and emerging learning trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven project management and implementation skills, including planning, executing, and overseeing projects from inception to completion.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Suite, Camtasia, Smartsheet, Adobe Creative Cloud, Articulate 360 or other authoring tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels across the organization.
