About the position

The Learning and Development Specialist at Cornerstone Advisors is responsible for developing and implementing corporate learning and development programs tailored for banking and financial services consultants. This role focuses on creating, designing, and delivering training curricula aimed at enhancing employee performance and engagement. The specialist will also manage the Learning Management System (LMS) to track and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives, collaborating closely with various teams to meet the organization's training needs.

Responsibilities

• Create, organize, plan, and present onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and interns.
• Develop unique learning and development programs to meet specific employee needs.
• Deliver high-impact training content across various formats including group discussions, classroom delivery, and virtual sessions.
• Conduct training needs analysis and develop training recommendations.
• Create and maintain training documentation, including agendas and recaps.
• Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments and feedback.
• Administer the Learning Management System and ensure compliance and engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Training/Learning & Development, Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Learning & Development or corporate training required.
• Strong experience with training methodologies, content development, and program design.
• HRIS/LMS experience and familiarity with SCORM-compliant content.
• Experience using eLearning authoring tools like Articulate.

Nice-to-haves

• ATD certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, Teams, and Smartsheet.
