About the position

The Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist at CEVA Animal Health, LLC is responsible for assisting with the administration of the industrial training program. This role involves a variety of tasks including scheduling, creating, and delivering required training to industrial employees in the GMSQ department. The L&D Specialist will play a crucial role in developing online training modules in People Cloud and will assist in the creation of training syllabi. Delivering training to industrial employees is a key duty, along with attending shop floor go-sees to ensure training relevance and effectiveness. In addition to training delivery, the L&D Specialist will review quality events and safety CAPAs from a training perspective, ensuring that training records are complete and accurate. A significant part of the role involves learning the job duties across all areas within the Industrial department, which will enable the specialist to mentor trainers effectively. Collaboration with department trainers is essential to ensure that training data is entered in a timely manner, and the L&D Specialist will also assist with onboarding and training new employees. The role requires reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to create and edit training materials as necessary, ensuring compliance with processes in accordance with regulatory agencies and CEVA policies. The L&D Specialist must follow all relevant department policies, procedures, SOPs, and other requirements during project execution. This position is integral to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development of online training modules in People Cloud
  • Assist with the development of the training syllabus
  • Deliver training to Industrial employees
  • Attend shop floor go sees
  • Review Quality events and Safety CAPA's from a training aspect
  • Review of training records for completeness and accuracy
  • Learn the job duties of all areas within the Industrial department
  • Mentor trainers within the departments
  • Work with department trainers to ensure training data is entered in a timely fashion
  • Assist with onboarding and training to new employees
  • Review SOPs in order to create training's and edit SOPs as needed
  • Ensure compliance of processes in accordance with Regulatory Agencies as well as Ceva policies and procedures
  • Follow all relevant department policies, procedures, SOPs, and other requirements during project execution

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in a science-related field or organizational development (or adequate relevant experience) is required
  • Minimum of two years' experience or demonstrated competency in a regulated industry environment, or pharmaceutical industry environment
  • Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint, One Drive, PowerPoint, Visio, Publisher, and QuickBase is preferred
  • Experience with aseptic technique preferred
  • Working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMPs) and or 9CFR
  • Minimum of 2 successful years in animal health or related field experience
