About the position

ProService is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist who will play a pivotal role at the intersection of our Client HR Trainer and Instructional Designer roles. This position is crucial for the development of innovative learning experiences that empower Hawaii employers to succeed. As an expert in training curriculum development, you will spearhead the creation of visually captivating and interactive training materials. Your skills will be instrumental in designing a variety of instructional materials for ProService's diverse client base, ensuring that our training programs are engaging and effective. In this role, you will utilize your instructional design skills to develop materials for various training formats, including instructor-led sessions, blended learning, video, and webinars. You will also facilitate and lead training sessions in multiple formats, such as classroom settings, webinars, podcasts, and on-demand formats. Coordination of logistics for training events will be a key responsibility, which includes securing venues, communicating with attendees, ordering food, and setting up equipment and materials. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting client interactions using our CRM system (Salesforce) and submitting training completion reports as required. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while executing deliverables within established timeframes is essential. You will need to prioritize tasks effectively to adjust to changing deadlines or business needs, ensuring that all training initiatives are executed smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize instructional design skills to develop instructional materials for ProService client training programs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing learning materials and programs.
  • Teaching experience and/or prior work in the field of learning and development.
  • Excellent public speaking skills and comfort on camera for webinars and videos.
  • Outstanding organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to foster collaboration and partner effectively with leadership.
  • Deep care for customer service, consistently exceeding client satisfaction expectations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
