As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will enhance employee skills and promote a culture of continuous improvement. You will assess training needs, design and implement effective programs, and evaluate their impact on performance. You will collaborate with various departments, tailoring content to align with company objectives. You must have strong communication and facilitation skills to engage diverse teams and drive professional development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for learning and adaptability to evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging training content using industry-standard authoring tools.
  • Support facilitation of learning programs, including new employee orientation and training.
  • Support administration and maintenance of the learning management system, scheduling and enrollment, generating reports, and tracking employee participation.
  • Support Training Helpdesk administration and troubleshooting.
  • Schedule in-person and virtual training events.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across departments and branches to deliver optimal and efficient service to our members.
  • Uphold a standard of professionalism actively fostering positive relationships internally and externally.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the credit union's products and services, ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and State laws, Credit Union banking regulations, and OE Federal Credit Union's policies and procedures and current promotions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and minimum 1 year of work experience in a similar role required.
  • Experience using training and/or content authoring tools.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Zoom are required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of financial products and services is preferred.
  • Experience in training or content development is preferred.
