About the position

The Learning & Development Specialist at Orange County's Credit Union is responsible for the development, design, and delivery of training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of associates. This role advocates the credit union's vision and values while ensuring quality member service and supporting the organization's growth and stability. The specialist will work closely with leadership to maintain high service quality and effectively communicate training initiatives to various audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and deliver training programs based on needs analysis.
• Create synchronous instructor-led workshops and self-directed asynchronous online training.
• Design and produce facilitator manuals, participant guides, and job aids to support training delivery.
• Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of learning and development programs through feedback and metrics.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to maintain and update training content.
• Facilitate learning programs using various modalities such as video, PowerPoint, and technology.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably in a financial institution.
• Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with LMS Administration and eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate).
• Strong communication and writing skills.
