About the position

As the Learning and Development Specialist at Power Design, Inc., you will play a crucial role in enhancing employee skills and knowledge through the design and facilitation of training programs. This hybrid position involves collaboration with subject matter experts to create engaging learning experiences for various audiences, both in-person and virtually. The role requires regular travel, with potential peaks of up to 75% during high-demand periods, making it ideal for individuals passionate about employee development and exploration.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on training sessions for individuals and large groups as needed.
• Design, structure, and maintain multi-platform training content focusing on optimizing the learner experience.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, including business and IT partners, management, and training team members.
• Administer program maintenance, including scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
• Develop and coordinate training materials based on organizational and employee needs.
• Create training manuals for specific topics.
• Prepare training resources, including notes and visual displays, tailored to departmental needs.
• Perform instructional design functions, including analyzing knowledge gaps, designing learning solutions, and evaluating outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in instructional design, curriculum development, or a related field.
• Prior training, teaching, or related experience preferred.
• Experience in curriculum development and facilitation for small and large groups.
• Experience with the development and delivery of instructor-led training workshops, both in-person and virtually.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience with a learning management system (LMS) is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, with effective communication skills in both oral and written forms.
