About the position

The Learning & Development Specialist at Solta, a division of Bausch Health, plays a crucial role in supporting all learning and development activities within the organization. This position is responsible for providing operational support to the Learning & Development team, ensuring that training programs are effectively coordinated and executed. The specialist will manage the logistics of training sessions, including providing necessary materials and support to participants to ensure their readiness. Additionally, the role involves collecting and documenting feedback from training programs to assess their effectiveness and areas for improvement. The Learning & Development Specialist will maintain and communicate the schedule of programs, liaising with other departments to confirm speakers and topics for training sessions. This position also requires collaboration with external vendors to manage contracts, system upgrades, data compliance, and reporting, ensuring that all relevant information is compiled and accessible. The specialist will coordinate the initiation and renewal of contracts and associated payments, assign courses, and run relevant reports and analytics in learning management systems. Ensuring compliance with required training courses for HR is another key responsibility, as is communicating and marketing learning opportunities to employees. The specialist will also be involved in adding course content to the Learning and Development page on the intranet, following the necessary approval processes. Participation in the creation of training and educational materials for HR initiatives, such as Performance Management, is also expected. This role requires a high level of organization, effective time management, and the ability to work independently while handling sensitive data with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for logistics, providing materials and support to participants to ensure readiness
  • Collect and document survey feedback from training programs
  • Maintain and communicate programs schedule/calendar
  • Liaise with other departments to confirm speakers and topics in training programs
  • Work with external vendors on contracts, systems upgrades, data compliance and reporting, to ensure all relevant information is compiled and available
  • Coordinate contract initiation, renewal and associated payments
  • Assign courses and run relevant reports/analytics in learning management systems
  • Ensure Compliance Wire courses for HR are rolled out successfully
  • Communicate and market learning opportunities to employees
  • Add course content to the Learning and Development page on the intranet, upon approval
  • Participate in the creation of training/educational related materials for HR initiatives such as Performance Management

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Human Resources discipline preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in HR or Training preferred
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred
  • Well organized, prioritizes work, manages time effectively, and follows through
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in strict confidence with sensitive data
  • Ability to work independently
  • 3-days in office required
