About the position

The Learning Specialist at Arizona College of Nursing is responsible for developing and delivering high-quality learning experiences across various modalities. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify learning needs, creating instructional content, and facilitating engaging learning sessions. The position requires a positive and enthusiastic individual who enjoys engaging learners and is adaptable to challenges.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough Needs Analysis with stakeholders to determine learning needs and skill gaps.
• Use instructional design best practices and andragogical principles to build and maintain learning content (microlearnings, courses, workshops, webinars, etc.) that aligns with strategic learning objectives.
• Facilitate online and in-person learning sessions with confidence and design complementary learning collateral.
• Consult with internal subject-matter experts and stakeholders to build thoughtful and impactful onboarding programs.
• Measure and evaluate learning outcomes and content effectiveness.
• Share data with appropriate stakeholders.
• Audit learning content at a regular cadence to ensure accuracy and alignment with the College's goals.
• Facilitate change management initiatives.
• Collaborate with others in Human Resources to solve problems and proactively approach challenges.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience with a Learning & Development department
• Expertise in content development for learning programs, in-person and online (eLearning)
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Proficiency with Articulate 360, including Storyline or a similar product
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Learning Management Systems
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience creating and editing video content
