About the position

The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for facilitating and delivering impactful learning experiences, leveraging technology for scalable learning solutions, and managing day-to-day learning operations. This role involves leading engaging learning sessions, ensuring a positive learner experience, and supporting the planning and execution of various learning initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging and dynamic learning sessions, virtually and in-person, across various topics.
  • Ensure a positive, interactive, and learner-centered experience in all sessions.
  • Manage logistics for virtual and live learning sessions, ensuring seamless delivery and engagement.
  • Leverage tech-enabled learning platforms and tools to create scalable and personalized learning experiences.
  • Stay informed about the latest technological trends in learning and development.
  • Partner with the learning technology solutions manager to support the usage and optimization of tech-enabled learning.
  • Regularly update and maintain the hub page for employee development offerings.
  • Support the planning and execution of learnfest, including coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Provide logistical support for instructor-led training sessions, including scheduling and material preparation.
  • Draft and distribute clear communications for global audiences regarding learning opportunities.
  • Collect and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of learning programs.
  • Provide insights and data to support the employee development team in crafting data-driven stories.
  • Assist in gathering and organizing feedback and performance metrics for continuous improvement efforts.
  • Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in learning facilitation and technology.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in learning programs.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in learning and development with a strong focus on facilitation and program delivery.
  • Strong familiarity with tech-enabled learning platforms and tools (e.g., LMS, e-learning, AI-driven learning).
  • Experience in managing administrative tasks, such as updating content and planning events.
  • Self-starter with a high level of comfort in ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data to assess program effectiveness.

Nice-to-haves

  • Instructional design experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting tools (such as Tableau) is a plus.
