Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, development, implementation, and facilitation of learning and development programs.
  • Provide ongoing support for company learning programs using needs analysis and instructional design methods.
  • Continuously update and redesign existing training materials and documentation.
  • Create learning modules independently using a blended learning approach and subject matter experts.
  • Utilize the learning management system to ensure proper functionality and user support for training needs.
  • Assist in the Performance Management process by providing administrative support and communication.
  • Develop written, instructor-led, and online training content based on thorough needs assessments.
  • Partner with leaders and stakeholders to develop effective learning solutions.
  • Apply change and project management methodologies to complete projects on time and within resources.
  • Be an expert in the learning management system to drive utilization across the organization.
  • Work closely with the Sr. Learning & Development Specialist on special projects.
  • Represent and communicate the mission and values of Louisville Water Company.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Five (5) years' experience in corporate learning, organizational development, adult learning, or instructional design.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with online learning and LMS best practices.
  • Strong understanding of performance management processes.
