About The Position

With the goal of improved patient care and employee engagement, design, develop, and facilitate delivery of digital and hybrid learning solutions for physicians, nurses, allied health workers and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience in a learning design, curation, and/or instructional design role required.
  • Flexibility, a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and desire to work ultra-productively as part of team an absolute must.
  • Demonstrated time and project management skills and ability to meet all scheduled deadlines.
  • Must demonstrate work samples as part of hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and delivers effective role-based training which helps enable Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health (D-HH) employees to do their best work.
  • Identifies performance and development needs and recommends learning and workflow performance solutions.
  • Utilizes best practice instructional design framework(s) to design effective learning solutions which are learner-centered, organized, accurate, relevant and engaging.
  • Conducts needs analysis to identify learning and performance objectives and builds competency mapping, evaluation and assessment strategies ensuring the learner journey is effective and meaningful.
  • Designs experiences that solve important learning problems most often based in the clinical environment.
  • Innovates digital learning at D-HH to provide evidence-based solutions such as social and peer learning, workflow learning, informal learning and performance-based learning.
  • Works with subject matter experts to leverage a variety of learning development tools to develop and deliver training that utilizes a blended learning approach including simulation-based, instructor-led, and digital.
  • Deploys online simulations, scenarios and interactions and consults on video production, storyboards and interactive videos.
  • Designs and develops bite size learning assets including graphics, gamification elements and quick reference guides.
  • Maintains, updates, improves and delivers existing digital and hybrid content as needed in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.
