The Talent and Learning Experience Designer role at Fidelity Investments focuses on creating engaging and effective learning experiences for associates. This position is ideal for individuals who are innovative and collaborative, aiming to modernize the learning process through the use of technology and instructional design methodologies. The designer will work closely with various teams to enhance the learner experience and drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Translate content from subject matter experts into meaningful learning experiences.
• Create learner-centric experiences and content using sound instructional design methodologies and UX design.
• Evaluate learning solutions to identify performance gaps and implement changes to improve behavior.
• Collaborate with peers to develop solutions that address business problems and opportunities.
• Manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2+ years of experience, or a Master's degree in instructional design or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in instructional design and content development for online, classroom, and virtual learning in a corporate setting.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills to create effective learning solutions.
• Project management skills using ADDIE/SAM models.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience presenting to various levels of leadership.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in financial services is preferred.
• Direct experience with building modern content using dominKnow Flow, Storyline 360, and Rise 360.
