About the position

The Learning Experience Designer at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business is responsible for collaborating with faculty to create and enhance digital courses and programs. This full-time, hybrid role focuses on applying the science of learning to develop innovative educational content and strategies that align with the school's mission of positive impact through business education.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Ross faculty to create new digital courses and programs.
  • Transform pre-existing courses into new digital formats in collaboration with faculty.
  • Author lesson plans that apply the science of learning and adhere to the digital Assurance of Learning initiative.
  • Transform faculty research into new digital assets.
  • Execute a digital education strategy that aligns with the strategic priorities of the school in collaboration with the Learning Design Manager.
  • Create research-based curricular and co-curricular digital courses and tools with researchers in the Office of Digital Education.
  • Develop educational templates and digital content for global learners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus three years of experience in a relevant industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in concept ideation, design, and delivery.
  • Experience in a higher education environment.
  • Progressive experience in project management with successful launch and implementation of new initiatives.
  • Strong initiative, independent judgment, diplomacy, and service-oriented attitude.
  • Commitment to teamwork and problem solving, with the ability to act independently.
  • Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage workload under time constraints and conflicting demands.
  • Ability to work well in a multicultural and collaborative environment.
