About the position

The Books Learning Facilitator is responsible for delivering training and performance support for new hires and ongoing education within the Amazon.com Books organization. This role involves collaboration with Customer Service and Risk Management Operations Managers to enhance learning initiatives and ensure effective training delivery across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in facilitation and project management to drive process improvements and create a positive learning environment for global support agents.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver training content for new hires and ongoing education.
  • Support performance management and provide feedback on training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service and Risk Management Operations Managers.
  • Maintain training content and report on ramp performance and knowledge test results.
  • Promote teamwork through facilitation, teaching, and coaching.
  • Analyze feedback for training programs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with stakeholders.
  • Implement communication plans in collaboration with the Instructional Design team.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in delivery and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in driving learning outcomes inside and beyond the classroom.
  • Curiosity and passion for learning.
  • College degree in communication, education, or related field, or at least 2 years of related experience.
  • Proven ability to translate business insights to audience needs.
  • Demonstrated success working on virtual teams.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and influence across boundaries.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2-5 years of experience in a formal training role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Learning and Development or Adult Learning.
  • CPLP or other learning/training certification.
  • Project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of executing the learning lifecycle.
