We are currently seeking a Learning and Organization Development Specialist who will take ownership of the design and implementation of various programs and projects aimed at building the capabilities necessary for Montefiore's workforce to meet their professional and organizational objectives. This role involves collaborating with colleagues in the Learning Network and key stakeholders to ensure that the programs are not only inspiring and meaningful but also effective for participants, leading to the desired learning and change outcomes. The responsibilities of this position encompass all phases of the development process, including assessment, prototyping, design, implementation, and measurement. The decisions made in this role must be grounded in a thorough assessment process, sound research principles, and a commitment to creating the best possible employee experience. The programs and projects may vary in scope and can be delivered either in person or virtually, depending on the needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement programs and projects that enhance workforce capabilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure program effectiveness.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to inform program design and implementation.
  • Prototype and measure the impact of learning initiatives.
  • Deliver programs in person or virtually as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as psychology, organization development, or human resources.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing learning and organization development programs.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of common Organization Development and Change models and methods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Ability to present plans and content to diverse audiences, including executives.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding data collection and analysis skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Solid project management experience with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to lead projects or team initiatives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in change management and communications.
  • Familiarity with virtual learning platforms.
