Responsibilities
- Responsible for well operations including gas lifted wells and ESPs.
- Perform minor maintenance on valves, pumps, and rotating equipment.
- Log data and check/test gauges.
- Conduct minor repairs on equipment as needed.
- Prepare for and perform maintenance tasks, including taking readings and issuing work permits.
- Proactively monitor well and equipment performance to maximize production.
- Work with support groups to optimize chemical pump rates based on production data.
- Interface with engineering for data gathering requests.
- Track test compression data and conduct fluid level measurements with echo meter.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Technical/functional and/or administrative support experience.
- Experience working with chemicals and/or treating oil.
- General working knowledge of specific systems, terminology, and procedures used within the department.
- Ability to perform routine tasks and solve problems.
