About the position

The Lease Sales Executive - Northern Region is responsible for managing and expanding the customer base in Northern Alabama and Jackson, MS. This role involves contacting prospective businesses, managing existing accounts, and achieving sales quotas through various outreach methods. The position requires a strong focus on customer service and the ability to develop tailored sales proposals for both short- and long-term rental opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Contact new prospects via email, telemarketing, networking, and cold calls.
• Establish and grow new rental sales in the assigned territory.
• Develop recommendations regarding fleet size, mix, and product type.
• Meet monthly sales quotas and participate in ongoing sales and customer events.
• Accept ongoing responsibility for customer service to customers.
• Create target lists, participate in sales blitzes, and pursue prospective business within the assigned territory.
• Develop and present sales proposals to new prospects and existing customers for rental opportunities.
• Submit required reports to the VP of Leasing & Rental.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Driver License
• 1 year of related experience in truck rental and/or trucking industry
• Comfortable with cold call solicitation
• Resourceful and results-oriented
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Familiar with heavy truck specifications including legal, performance, and application criteria
• Understanding of administrative and service features of Truck Rental
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel and Outlook
• Detail-oriented, organized, determined, ambitious, and a team player
• Strong work ethic and commitment to extra hours when needed.
