Penske is seeking a motivated and self-starting Lease Sales Representative to join our expanding sales team in the transportation and logistics sector. This role is pivotal in driving our sales efforts within the trucking industry, which is responsible for moving nearly 69% of all domestic freight. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, new business development, and territory management, along with a Bachelor's degree or an additional 4 years of relevant experience. Strong communication, organization, and influencing skills are essential for success in this position. The Lease Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, conducting sales calls, and visiting customers within their assigned territory. This role requires a focus on customer interaction and the ability to build relationships with diverse customers and executives. The representative will generate sales volume and revenue through prospecting new B2B customer accounts, retaining existing customers, and increasing their business volume with Penske Truck Leasing. This position is also responsible for exceeding monthly revenue quotas through ongoing customer development, consistent proposal generation, and active management of a sales pipeline. Penske recognizes the efforts of our Lease Sales teams with commissions, a company vehicle, and top sales performer recognition programs.
