About the position

The Lease Sales Representative at Penske Truck Leasing is responsible for driving sales growth within a designated territory by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and exceeding monthly revenue quotas. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong communication and organizational skills, who can effectively engage with diverse customers and executives to fulfill their transportation and financial needs through full-service truck leasing.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, pursue, and maintain a pipeline of potential customers through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
  • Understand customer business models to propose appropriate products, prices, and credit terms.
  • Build and maintain relationships with leasing customers, acting as a transportation consultant.
  • Extend or renew existing contracts and identify growth opportunities in new geographic locations or industries.
  • Utilize a value-based selling methodology in all sales pursuits.
  • Meet or exceed established sales quotas and manage a sales pipeline effectively.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of executive level sales experience or sales support role with executive exposure.
  • Demonstrated ability in consultative and strategic selling techniques.
  • Experience presenting products and services to C-level executives.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Sales CRM.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
