The Lease Sales Representative at Penske Truck Leasing is a vital role focused on driving sales in the trucking industry. This position requires a self-motivated individual with a strong background in B2B sales, particularly in new business development and territory management. The representative will engage with diverse customers to fulfill their transportation and financial needs through full-service truck leasing, while also managing a sales pipeline and exceeding monthly revenue quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, pursue, and maintain a pipeline of potential customers through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
  • Understand customer business models to propose appropriate products, prices, and credit terms.
  • Build and maintain relationships with leasing customers, acting as a transportation consultant.
  • Extend or renew existing contracts and identify growth opportunities in new geographic locations or industries.
  • Utilize value-based selling methodology in all sales pursuits.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of executive-level sales experience or sales support role with executive exposure, preferably in service and transportation.
  • Demonstrated ability in consultative and strategic selling techniques.
  • Strong communication, organization, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to connect and build rapport with customers at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Sales CRM.
