The Lease Sales Representative at Penske Truck Leasing is a pivotal role focused on driving sales in the B2B sector of the transportation industry. This position involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and exceeding revenue quotas through strategic sales activities. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess strong communication skills, and have a proven track record in sales, particularly in a consultative selling environment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, pursue, and maintain a pipeline of potential customers through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
• Understand customer business models to propose appropriate products, prices, and credit terms.
• Build and maintain relationships with leasing customers, acting as a transportation consultant.
• Extend or renew existing contracts and identify growth opportunities in new geographic locations or industries.
• Utilize value-based selling methodologies in all sales pursuits.

Requirements

• 5+ years of executive level sales experience or experience in a sales support role with executive level exposure.
• Demonstrated ability in consultative and strategic selling techniques.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Sales CRM.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
