About the position

The Lease-Up Assistant Community Manager plays a crucial role in property management for a new community, focusing on creating a welcoming environment for residents. This position involves various responsibilities, including leasing, marketing, administrative tasks, and financial management, all aimed at enhancing the resident experience and driving occupancy.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating an inviting atmosphere for residents by handling inquiries and resolving concerns.
  • Collaborate with the leasing team to drive occupancy by following up on leads and conducting tours.
  • Assist in executing community marketing plans and participate in outreach events.
  • Maintain accurate resident files and process paperwork, including lease renewals.
  • Work closely with the Community Manager and on-site team to execute property goals and coordinate resident events.
  • Support rent collection and assist with month-end financial reports.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in property management, leasing, or customer service; experience in a lease-up or multifamily setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Familiarity with property management software and social media marketing is a plus.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
  • Trustworthy with the ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in social media marketing.
  • College degree preferred.
