About the position

The Lease Up Community Manager at Greystar is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a designated property, ensuring that it meets financial and operational goals while complying with relevant laws and company policies. This role involves managing a team, handling budgets, and implementing marketing strategies to enhance occupancy and revenue. The Community Manager also plays a key role in maintaining resident satisfaction and managing relationships with property owners.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the assigned property.
• Analyze financial statements and develop budgets for the property.
• Set rent rates and ensure timely collection of rent and fees.
• Approve invoices from vendors and manage communication regarding payments.
• Oversee the lease enforcement process, including approving resident applications and conducting inspections.
• Implement marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Respond to resident complaints and ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
• Supervise property staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Manage client/owner relationships and provide updates on property performance.

Requirements

• Experience in property management or a related field.
• Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and implement effective strategies.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.
