About the position

The Leasing Agent at Guardian Management is responsible for conducting day-to-day leasing activities at Las Flores, a new affordable apartment community in Oregon City, OR. This role focuses on maintaining positive relations with residents and prospective tenants, ensuring the property is well-maintained, and adhering to Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws. The position requires effective communication, organizational skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct day-to-day leasing activities for the property.
• Maintain positive resident and prospective relations.
• Ensure good physical appearance and maintenance of vacant units.
• Coordinate cleaning and repairs of vacant units with Community Manager and Maintenance Staff.
• Lease in compliance with applicable government programs and Fair Housing laws.
• Complete all required paperwork and reports on time.
• Greet and tour prospects, answering questions about the property.
• Record all telephone and in-person visits on appropriate reports.
• Inspect model unit and available units, communicating service needs to the Community Manager.
• Administer leasing efforts including reviewing tenant billings and preparing vacancy reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in customer service, sales, or marketing, or a college degree in a related field.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong technology and computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to complete company training requirements within deadlines.
