About the position

The Leasing Agent position at Eglinton Property Management involves assisting current and prospective residents with all activities related to apartment rentals. The role requires strong marketing and sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer service orientation to effectively meet the needs of potential tenants.

Responsibilities

• Quickly identify the needs of prospective residents to help them find the perfect apartment.
• Provide information on available units in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
• Process applications, credit reports, leases, and renewals.
• Respond to inquiries via phone and e-mail.
• Keep accurate records of prospective tenant traffic.
• Assist in generating traffic through active participation in the community's marketing strategy.
• Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents.

Requirements

• Prior experience in leasing, sales, retail, hospitality, or multi-family environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Social Media applications.
• Strong sales and customer service abilities.
• Well-organized and self-motivated.
• Ability to work as a team player and adaptable to change.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Reliable and available to work weekends.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual (Knowledge of Spanish and English is required).
