About the position

The Leasing Agent at Breckinridge Court of Leinbach Company is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to prospective tenants and current residents in a busy apartment community. The role involves showing apartments, leasing to qualified applicants, and maintaining the property’s presentation and cleanliness. The Leasing Agent will also engage in community events and support the Property Manager with various tasks.

Responsibilities

• Showing apartments to rental prospects and leasing to qualified applicants.
• Selling positive aspects of the property and company through proper telephone, leasing, and closing techniques.
• Responding to inquiries for property information in an appropriate and timely manner.
• Knowing and updating competitors' pricing/specials.
• Learning all paperwork and reports related to leasing and preparing them when necessary.
• Filing paperwork and service requests.
• Checking all model units, fitness center, and laundry rooms daily to ensure cleanliness.
• Keeping clubhouse, bathrooms, offices, and laundry rooms clean when housekeeper is not available.
• Keeping coffee, refreshments, and condiments fresh and stocked.
• Placing service requests from residents with property maintenance staff.
• Completing all job-related tasks assigned by Property Manager.
• Working (and participating!) in community events.

Requirements

• Experience and confidence with customer service.
• A valid driver's license.
• Background and drug testing.
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs, walk up to third floor apartments, and walk distances.
