About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Agent to join our team in Justin, TX, at a 300-unit property built in 2020. The Leasing Agent will assist prospective tenants in finding and leasing properties, utilizing exceptional customer service skills and knowledge of property leasing and management to contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist prospective tenants in a professional and friendly manner
• Conduct property tours, highlighting the features and benefits of each unit
• Provide accurate information about rental availability, lease terms, and application process
• Process rental applications and verify applicant information
• Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are completed accurately
• Coordinate move-in and move-out procedures, including inspections and key exchanges
• Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, rental rates, and competitor offerings
• Utilize Yardi or similar software for data entry, contract management, and reporting

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Previous experience in leasing or property management is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants
• Knowledge of property leasing processes and procedures
• Familiarity with property management principles and practices
• Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) software
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Attention to detail with strong organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
• Basic understanding of property maintenance concepts
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Resman experience is a plus
