Additionally, you will conduct background and credit checks in compliance with fair housing laws. It is essential to clearly communicate leasing terms, rental rates, and any additional fees to prospective tenants. Facilitating lease signings and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed will be part of your duties. Providing excellent customer service to current and prospective tenants is crucial, as you will address inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner, establishing positive relationships with residents to enhance the sense of community within the affordable housing property. Staying up to date on federal, state, and local affordable housing regulations is vital, and you will ensure compliance with all relevant laws. Collaborating with property management to maintain accurate and organized records related to tenant leasing and compliance will be part of your responsibilities. You will also assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract eligible applicants and collaborate with community organizations, local agencies, and outreach programs to promote the availability of affordable housing units.
