About the position

As a Leasing Agent at The Nook at Northaven, you will play a crucial role in property management by engaging with prospective and current residents, enhancing customer service and sales skills, and contributing to the marketing and operations of a multi-million dollar asset. This full-time temporary position is expected to last until the end of June 2025, providing an entry point into a rewarding career in property management.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all Fair Housing Laws and Landlord-Tenant Laws.
  • Own the customer experience to drive new leases, lease renewals, and overall resident satisfaction.
  • Project a positive image to prospective residents while conducting property tours.
  • Assist with marketing efforts including sales data tracking and customer surveys.
  • Advertise available units via various media channels.
  • Meet leasing goals and track results.
  • Promote the property's social media channels.
  • Assist in implementing a lease renewal strategy.
  • Attend leasing, marketing, and management meetings as required.
  • Strategically position signage and collateral for neighborhood outreach.
  • Utilize leasing systems to streamline processes.
  • Complete the leasing process including unit walk-throughs and documentation.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents and the community.
  • Manage package system for efficient delivery and receipt of parcels.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with staff and residents.
  • Identify and respond to the needs of residents and tenants quickly.
  • Maintain regular communication with residents and coordinate events.
  • Clean models and prepare vacant units for move-in.
  • Respond quickly to emergencies and maintain workspace organization.
  • Educate on safety and quality control measures.
  • Manage and maintain resident, vendor, and project files.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and vendors.
  • Update leasing software with new leads and tours.
  • Track and prepare for move-ins and move-outs.

Requirements

  • Curiosity about community building and experience in creating dynamic environments.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with productivity software including MS Office, SharePoint, and Google Docs.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Experience working with the public in a retail or sales environment.
  • Friendly demeanor with a good sense of humor.
