About the position

As a Leasing Agent at DTN Management, you will play a crucial role in shaping the experience of potential residents and the community at large. This position is not just about filling vacancies; it’s about creating a welcoming environment that reflects the values and quality of DTN properties. You will be the brand ambassador, responsible for generating leads, managing inquiries, and converting prospects into satisfied residents. Your interactions will influence the reputation of DTN, making it essential to maintain positive and professional relationships with future residents, current residents, and community members. In this full-time role, you will work closely with the Property Manager and the leasing team to achieve property goals. Your responsibilities will include generating and managing leads for new leases, assisting in planning and hosting resident events, and utilizing technology and operating software to streamline the leasing process. You will also be responsible for creating and presenting leases, entering work orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction through follow-ups. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, possess strong people skills, and have a collaborative mindset, as success in this role is achieved through teamwork. DTN Management is a well-respected real estate firm with over 50 years of experience in construction, development, and ownership of multifamily properties. Responsibilities

  • Generate, manage and close leads for new leases
  • Maintain positive and professional relations with employees, future residents, community members, and current residents
  • Work as part of a team to exceed property goals
  • Assist with planning and hosting of resident events
  • Use approved technology and operating software to create, manage and convert leads to leases and manage resident needs
  • Create and present leases to future residents and renewing current residents
  • Enter work orders as received and follow up after completion to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned based on site needs

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Well organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Experience with or the ability to learn all technology and operating software used at DTN communities
  • Experience with or ability to learn social media and reputation management websites including Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat
  • Motivation to learn and consistently improve
  • Strong people skills to educate, support, and overcome objections of current and future residents
  • Collaborative mindset and a can-do attitude
  • Attention to detail to represent the DTN brand effectively
  • Proficient with computers and various software platforms including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using industry software is preferred
  • Reliable transportation to get to work daily and conduct daily job responsibilities
