About the position

The Leasing Agent will negotiate agreements with landowners for renewable energy projects, acting as a liaison between the DPS client and landowners. This role involves managing multiple negotiations, conducting title research, and drafting agreements while maintaining detailed records of interactions and progress.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple negotiations with landowners.
• Keep a detailed log/notes of contact attempts and progress.
• Use online resources to locate contact information.
• Conduct basic title research, including locating vesting documents and tax assessment data.
• Draft agreements for land acquisition.
• Maintain status of notary if possible.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• At least one year of leasing experience required.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prepare well-written and accurate documents and reports.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
