About the position

As our Multifamily Leasing Agent, you will perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve the community's revenue and occupancy goals. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting community tours, and showing apartments. You will also be responsible for processing applications, conducting credit screenings, and performing criminal background checks. Additionally, you will prepare the lease and move-in package, ensuring a smooth resident move-in and lease signing process. It is essential to inspect apartments prior to resident move-in to ensure they are in move-in ready condition and to schedule any outstanding items to be addressed with the maintenance team. You will need to stay knowledgeable about current market and competitor conditions that may impact the community's occupancy and sales results. This includes developing and implementing short and long-term marketing plans and goals to sustain occupancy. You will also follow the community's established policies related to concessions, specials, and other programs designed to boost occupancy. This is a part-time position located in Jerome, ID, and offers a flexible schedule to accommodate your needs.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven work experience of 1 year in onsite property management as a Leasing Agent.
  • Proficient with property management software, digital marketing, and CRM, with Entrata preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and Google Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite applications.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, take initiative, and resolve conflicts.
  • Demonstrate ambition for continuous personal and team development.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
