About the position

HomeRiver Group is seeking a professional Leasing Agent to join our team in DFW, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling and showing available single-family or multi-family units to prospective tenants. Your primary goal will be to convert these prospects into applicants and ultimately place qualified residents in our properties. You will need to follow up with prospects to provide necessary documentation to complete their applications and utilize various media and promotional materials to advertise available properties. Staying knowledgeable about the property market status is crucial, as you will need to assess the needs, living standards, and economic viability of potential clients. Your efforts will directly contribute to achieving high occupancy rates for our properties. As a Leasing Agent, you will be expected to scout potential clients, engage with them effectively, and maintain a persuasive approach in your marketing and sales efforts. This position requires a proactive attitude and a strong work ethic, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and quality is paramount. You will also need to be friendly and welcoming, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills to create a positive experience for prospects. The role is full-time, typically working Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekends required for open houses.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and show available single-family or multi-family units to prospective tenants.

  • Stay knowledgeable about the property market status.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Leasing Agent.
  • 2+ years of experience in property management.
  • Up to date with property market status.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite applications.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Persuasive marketing and sales skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Texas Real Estate License required.
