About the position

The Leasing Consultant position at Barrewoods Apartments involves engaging with prospective tenants, showcasing the luxury apartment community, and managing leasing activities. The role requires a self-motivated individual with strong customer service skills and prior leasing experience to effectively communicate and assist potential residents throughout the leasing process.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective tenants and conduct property tours.
• Prepare and schedule property viewings for interested applicants.
• Accept applications and secure leases from qualified applicants.
• Maintain a weekly traffic log and deliver it to the Manager.
• Assist in marketing efforts to promote the property positively.
• Document market surveys regarding the property's market area conditions and competition.
• Assist the Property Manager in collecting rents and managing move-ins and move-outs.
• Address and resolve residents' questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
• Complete service requests from residents and deliver them to maintenance/manager for processing.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Leasing, Marketing, and Property Management preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Computer oriented and efficient in Microsoft Office and industry software programs.
• Social Media Savvy.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in social media marketing (1 year preferred).
• Customer service experience (1 year preferred).
• Property leasing experience (1 year preferred).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (1 year preferred).
• Valid Driver's License.
