About the position

Rushmore Management is seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant to join their team in Bayonne, NJ. The role focuses on managing the leasing process, ensuring customer satisfaction, and enhancing property efficiency. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills, with a goal of maximizing tenant quality of life and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including tours, leasing apartments, preparing lease paperwork, and assisting to ensure a smooth move-in.
• Greet clients, assess needs, answer questions, and provide tours of the apartments and community.
• Process applications, and prepare and review lease agreements and renewals.
• Respond to in-person, phone, and email inquiries, providing leasing information, making appointments, and creating and following up with maintenance requests.
• Receive deposits and rent money, and record appropriately.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist all clients with a positive and friendly tone.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of residential leasing experience.
• 2 years of customer service experience (preferred).
• Valid Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in sales.
• Working experience in property management.
• Proven track record of successful leasing/management.
