About the position

Storyboard Living is seeking an energetic and outgoing Leasing Agent to join our team in Fairview Heights, IL. The Leasing Agent will play a crucial role in connecting with prospective residents, showcasing our apartment homes, and ensuring a positive leasing experience. This position requires a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and excellent leasing and team-building skills, with a focus on community engagement and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable of current rental rates, sizes, locations, and amenities of the portfolio.
• Answer incoming calls and assist callers with their needs.
• Schedule and complete tours of apartment homes with prospective residents.
• Complete lease forms for new and current residents.
• Develop full knowledge of application information required and screening processes.
• Efficient and timely processing of applications, reports, and related information.
• Report market trends and/or pricing recommendations for the portfolio.
• Handle resident requests and/or complaints courteously and professionally.
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
• Manage all lead and application activity in the CRM queue ensuring leads move through the leasing process.
• Focus on resident satisfaction and lease conversion rates during the application process.
• Drive leasing activity and productivity, focusing on KPIs relating to occupancy, renewals, new leases, and minimizing vacancy periods.
• Monitor current and upcoming availability.
• Assist the team with leasing activities and complete property walks for move-ins.
• Assist the Leasing Team Lead and Assistant Portfolio Manager with miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of leasing experience.
• Sales and marketing experience, including sales training and goal setting.
• Experience with Yardi and CRM software.

• Market analysis and market plan creation and implementation experience.
