Responsibilities

• Completing lease agreements and collecting rental deposits.
• Ensuring model or target apartments are ready for tours.
• Maintaining all resident and property files.
• Having thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications, and all property policies, as well as current rental rates, sizes, locations, and all amenities of the property.
• Utilizing required telephone and leasing techniques.
• Having full knowledge of lease application information required, screening processes, and policies.
• Ensuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Conducting daily physical inspections of the property to ensure all vacant apartments are ready.
• Establishing and maintaining connections with local businesses to provide informational marketing and leasing material.
• Ensuring that all resident requests or complaints are responded to in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Ensuring operation within OSHA and EPA standards, as well as following all Fair Housing regulations.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Prior leasing experience is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred but not required.
• Problem solver with a positive outlook and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to compose notices and communication that is grammatically correct and professional in tone.
• Experience with Entrata is preferred.
• Experience with social media including Facebook and Instagram is preferred.
• Ability to walk properties frequently and climb stairs as business dictates.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Dependable and detail-oriented with a team player attitude.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in social media management.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
