About the position

Housing Hub is currently seeking an experienced Leasing Agent to oversee the leasing of multiple properties while delivering exceptional customer service to both the Housing Hub team and our clients. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who thrives on interaction and enjoys assisting customers. As a Licensed Real Estate Agent, you will play a crucial role in filling our units, with your income potential directly linked to your efforts and results. It is essential that you possess a valid Real Estate Salesperson License in good standing in the State of Minnesota, allowing Housing Hub's Real Estate Broker to hold it. In this role, you will be responsible for advertising available properties through various media and promotional materials. You will process applications, conduct credit checks, and verify references to ensure reliable tenancy. Additionally, you will prepare and execute lease agreements in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Providing excellent customer service is paramount, as you will be maintaining positive relationships with both prospects and existing tenants. You will manage leasing activities associated with multiple properties across the Twin Cities metro and surrounding areas, ensuring a seamless experience for all parties involved.

Responsibilities

• Advertise available properties using a variety of media and promotional materials.
• Process applications, conduct credit checks, and verify references to ensure reliable tenancy.
• Prepare and execute lease agreements in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service to maintain a positive relation with prospects and existing tenants.
• Manage leasing associated with multiple properties in multiple locations in the Twin Cities metro and surrounding area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• A real estate license is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in leasing or a similar role within property management.
• Ability to handle responsibilities for multiple properties.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of leasing and property management methods.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Customer focused with the ability to problem solve on the spot.
