About the position

Pacifica Residential is seeking a dedicated Leasing Agent to join our team in Henderson, NV. As a private company specializing in professional, resident-focused apartment and condominium community management, we prioritize building strong relationships with our residents, employees, vendors, investors, and partners. This role is essential in ensuring that our leasing processes are efficient, compliant with regulations, and focused on providing excellent customer service. The Leasing Agent will be responsible for understanding and adhering to federal, state, and local laws, particularly Fair Housing regulations. You will greet prospects and residents warmly, process and select new residents according to our rental policy, and verify application details and documents. This position requires you to submit applications to the Property Manager for approval, notify applicants, and document all interactions. Additionally, you will assist in marketing efforts, including daily postings on platforms like Craigslist, to maintain high occupancy rates. Maintaining a closing ratio of applicants to first contact above 15% is a key performance indicator for this role. You will also address objections during property tours and provide constructive feedback to improve the leasing process. Assisting with lease renewal offers while ensuring compliance with local laws and company guidelines is another critical responsibility. Prior to move-ins, you will inspect each apartment using a checklist to ensure readiness for new residents. This position requires a proactive approach to customer service and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Experience with Yardi preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to deliver consistent excellent customer service with enthusiasm.
  • Time management skills to meet established deadlines.
