About the position

The Leasing Agent at Hallmark Management Inc. serves as the primary point of contact between prospective residents and the property management team. This role is essential in creating a positive first impression of the community, providing exceptional customer service, and facilitating the leasing process for new residents. The Leasing Agent is responsible for managing inquiries, showing available units, and ensuring a smooth transition for new tenants.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and show model and available vacancies.
• Answer phone inquiries courteously and provide accurate information.
• Qualify prospective residents and verify application data.
• Maintain daily logs for traffic, pest control, and maintenance requests.
• Follow up on information calls and prospects, including sending thank-you cards.
• Complete all lease packets prior to move-in.
• Check all move-ins prior to the move-in date for completion.
• Prepare clubhouse, leasing material, and model for viewing.
• Shop other apartment communities by phone and in person monthly as assigned.
• Assist with all leasing activities and resident relations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of related experience in leasing or customer service preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with social media management for marketing purposes.
• Basic leasing and marketing knowledge.
