Pacifica Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our dedicated team in Las Vegas, NV. As a private company specializing in professional, resident-focused apartment and condominium community management, we prioritize building strong relationships with our residents, employees, vendors, investors, and partners. This role is essential in ensuring that our leasing operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our communities. The Leasing Consultant will be responsible for understanding and adhering to federal, state, and local laws, particularly Fair Housing regulations. You will greet prospects and residents warmly and enthusiastically, creating a welcoming environment. Your primary duties will include processing and selecting new residents according to our rental policy, verifying application details and documents, and submitting applications to the Property Manager for approval. You will also notify applicants and document all interactions to maintain clear communication. In addition to resident interactions, you will assist in marketing efforts, including multiple daily postings on Craigslist, to maintain high occupancy rates. A key performance indicator for this role is maintaining a closing ratio of applicants to first contact above 15%. You will address objections during property tours and provide constructive feedback to improve the leasing process. Furthermore, you will assist with lease renewal offers, ensuring compliance with local laws and company guidelines, and inspect each apartment prior to move-in using a checklist to ensure readiness. This position requires effective oral and written communication skills, a high school diploma or equivalency, and the ability to deliver consistent, excellent customer service with enthusiasm. The role also demands physical capabilities, including the ability to walk up and down stairs, kneel or crouch, and stand, walk, or sit for extended periods. Time management skills are essential to prioritize tasks and meet established deadlines.
