About the position

The Leasing Agent position at Mayfair Management Group is a client-facing role focused on assisting tenants with moves, leases, and inquiries. The agent will act as a mediator between tenants and property managers, ensuring effective communication and follow-through on leasing deals. This role is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for customer service in the property management sector.

Responsibilities

• Interview prospective residents and record information to ascertain needs and qualifications.
• Generate a high volume of leasing deals by identifying new prospects and cultivating growth.
• Accompany prospective residents to models and vacant apartments, discussing features and amenities.
• Qualify prospective residents by verifying applications, credit information, and other qualifications.
• Prepare lease and move-in documentation and related paperwork.
• Collect rental payments and application fees from community residents.
• Promote a positive approach to resident relations and service.
• Inspect vacancies daily to confirm each apartment's make-ready status.
• Assist in planning and hosting resident events.
• Maintain knowledge of the marketplace through regular competitive property visits and inspections.

Requirements

• Proven track record of successful sales.
• Up to date with property market status.
• Familiarity with MS Office.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Persuasive marketing and sales skills.
• Customer service orientation.
