About the position

The Leasing Agent is a vital member of the apartment complex team, responsible for attracting potential residents and ensuring high occupancy rates. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, conducting property tours, and assisting applicants through the leasing process. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for real estate.

Responsibilities

• Interact with prospective residents, providing them with detailed information about available units, amenities, and leasing terms.
• Conduct property tours, showcasing apartment units and amenities, and address any inquiries potential residents may have.
• Assist applicants through the leasing process, explaining lease terms, conditions, and rental agreements.
• Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, applications, and resident interactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service to existing and prospective residents, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive living experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in leasing or real estate is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of local rental market trends and regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and property management software.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in real estate or property management are advantageous.
