About the position

As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants in finding and leasing properties. This role involves showcasing properties, providing information on lease terms, and ensuring a positive leasing experience for potential residents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours for prospective tenants and highlight key features
• Assist applicants with the leasing process from application to lease signing
• Maintain accurate records of property availability and leasing activity
• Utilize property management software such as CMMS, OneSite for lease documentation
• Uphold knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance in all leasing activities
• Utilize upselling techniques to promote additional services or amenities
• Perform data entry tasks to update tenant information and lease agreements
• Negotiate lease terms with potential tenants while representing the property owner's interests

Requirements

• Proficiency in legal administrative tasks related to property leasing
• Familiarity with administrative duties within a property management setting
• Knowledge of CMMS and OneSite software for managing leases
• Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants
• Understanding of property management practices and leasing procedures
