About the position

The Leasing Administrator will play a crucial role in the leasing team, focusing on customer service and the leasing process for apartments and commercial spaces. This position involves advertising properties, responding to rental leads, assisting applicants with their applications and move-in processes, and managing tenant relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the advertising of apartments and commercial spaces for lease
• Respond to incoming leads and schedule appointments for tours
• Assist applicants with the application process
• Assist applicants with the move-in process
• Assist with the management of commercial retail, office and restaurant spaces
• Address tenant concerns, coordinate maintenance requests, and escalate issues to property management as necessary
• Build and maintain positive tenant relationships to foster satisfaction and retention
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract prospective tenants through online listings, social media, and local advertising
• Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance property visibility and appeal

Requirements

• Proven experience in property leasing, sales, or real estate
• Strong knowledge of leasing practices, fair housing laws, and relevant regulations
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Customer service orientation and ability to work independently or within a team
