About the position

Keystone Management is seeking a dedicated and professional Leasing Agent to join our team at The Oaks Apartments, a 360-unit community located in Sanford, NC. This full-time position is essential for maintaining the operational success of our property and ensuring a positive living experience for our residents. The Leasing Agent will be responsible for a variety of tasks including rent collection, leasing apartments, marketing the property, and managing eviction processes when necessary. Strong communication skills are crucial as the role involves regular interaction with residents, vendors, and various agencies that conduct business with our community. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. This position requires the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, demonstrating dependability and accountability. Strong organizational skills and the capacity to multi-task are essential for success in this role. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Yardi Software is preferred, as these tools will be utilized frequently in daily operations. Compensation for this position starts at $19.00 per hour, with the potential for increases based on experience. The Leasing Agent will work a standard 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, and will be expected to engage actively with the community to foster a welcoming atmosphere for all residents.

Responsibilities

• Collect rent from residents in a timely manner.
• Lease apartments to prospective tenants.
• Market the property to attract new residents.
• File eviction notices and manage eviction processes as necessary.
• Maintain strong communication with residents, vendors, and agencies.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and potential tenants.
• Work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License is required.
• 1 year of customer service experience is required.
• 1 year of property leasing experience is required.
• Experience with Yardi software is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task are necessary.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
• Ability to commute to Sanford, NC is preferred.
• Willingness to relocate to Sanford, NC before starting work is required.
