About the position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing property leasing activities, ensuring a high level of customer service, and maintaining positive relationships with tenants. This role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of property management, and the ability to effectively upsell leasing options to prospective tenants.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, showcasing available units and highlighting key features.
• Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain knowledge of local real estate market trends and property leasing regulations to provide informed guidance to clients.
• Utilize OneSite or similar property management software for tracking leases, tenant communications, and maintenance requests.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Assist in the development of marketing strategies to promote available properties and attract potential tenants.
• Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and ready for showings.
• Uphold company policies regarding contracts and legal compliance in all leasing activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in property leasing or real estate administration is preferred.
• Familiarity with property management software such as OneSite is a plus.
• Knowledge of laws related to property leasing and tenant rights is essential.
• Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are required for effective interaction with clients and tenants.
• Experience in upselling services or products will be beneficial in maximizing leasing opportunities.
• A background in customer service will enhance the ability to meet tenant needs effectively.
